Course content
The Roadside Emergency Action Concerning Technicians (REACT) Training licence provides delegates with the skills and knowledge of how to safely respond to breakdowns on busy roads, including theory, practical and final assessment.
By the end of the course, the delegate will be able to demonstrate an understanding of the hazards whilst working on the roadside, along with a good understanding of how they should act, behave and carry out a roadside breakdown in a professional manner. Topics include:
- Daily Checks and maintenance of your Service Vehicle
- Required Equipment
- Correct and Required PPE
- Pre-Breakdown Planning
- Driving to Breakdown
- Attending a Breakdown
- Leaving a Breakdown
This licence is valid for five years. Once expired, technicians will need to undertake the course again to maintain the required safety standards.
