RWC TRAINING PARTNERS WITH CALEX TO LAUNCH NEW FORD BODY & PAINT APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAMME

RWC Training, a leading provider of automotive training, is proud to announce its partnership with Calex, one of the UK’s largest apprenticeship training providers, to deliver the new Ford Body & Paint Apprentice Programme. This collaboration marks a significant step forward in developing skilled talent for the Ford Certified Collision Network (FCCN). 

The new programme was created in partnership with Calex and Ford. It will provide hands-on, practical training at RWC Training’s state-of-the-art facilities, which have been selected for their ability to meet the highest industry standards. The partnership will bring apprentices to the RWC Training centre for four-day blocks every 6-8 weeks.

Calex, known for its forward-thinking approach to learning and development, sought out RWC Training to deliver a programme that would put the learners first.

The initial apprenticeship programmes available for individuals aged 16 and over include:

  • Level 3 Vehicle Damage Paint Technician
  • Level 2 Bodyshop Customer Service Advisor
  • Level 3 Bodyshop Business Administrator
  • Level 2 Bodyshop Parts Advisor (Supply Chain Warehouse)

The programme will also feature free recruitment services, Ford specialist e-learning and dedicated support from a development coach. Additional programmes; Vehicle Damage Panel Technician & Vehicle Damage MET Technician are anticipated to be introduced in late 2025 with Vehicle Damage Assessor expected 2026.
