RWC Training announced a significant milestone for its BS 10125 compliant Continuous Professional Development (CPD) programme, Train to Gain, confirming that the solution has been positively received by, and aligns with the auditing procedures of, all three United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS) accredited certification bodies active in the sector.
The three organisations – BSI, RMISC and CARSQA – are the sole UKAS accredited bodies for certification, product and inspection activities relevant to the vehicle repair industry. RWC Training proactively engaged with each of these auditors, providing comprehensive walkthroughs of the Train to Gain programme to ensure complete awareness and understanding of its compliance and delivery model.
This alignment provides crucial confidence for bodyshops and repair networks adopting the new CPD programme. Following the detailed briefings, the auditors confirmed that Train to Gain works seamlessly with their existing auditing procedures and aligns well with the stringent requirements of the BS 10125 standard.
Matt Mardell, RWC Business Development Director, commented on the significance of this preparatory work:
From the outset, the team committed to creating a BS 10125 compliant programme that works flawlessly in the real world. Preparing the industry means preparing the auditors. Having had thorough meetings with BSI, RMISC and CARSQA, and receiving their positive feedback that Train to Gain integrates well into their auditing processes, gives our clients absolute certainty. This step eliminates any potential friction during audit, proving that our next-generation CPD programme delivers both genuine upskilling and uncompromised compliance.
Train to Gain is RWC Training’s innovative CPD programme designed to move the automotive repair sector beyond repetitive assessment towards sustainable, job role specific training. By securing the understanding and acceptance of the three principal auditors, RWC Training has positioned Train to Gain as a robust, future-proof solution for maintaining BS 10125 certification.
