BRIAN ROBSON COACHWORKS TRANSITIONS ENTIRE OPERATION TO RWC’S TRAIN TO GAIN PROGRAMME

RWC Training is pleased to announce that Brian Robson Coachworks (BRC), a premier vehicle repair group based in Hertfordshire, has fully transitioned its technical training and compliance to the Train to Gain CPD programme.

The move sees 20 technicians across BRC’s three sites enrolled in a comprehensive curriculum of 39 courses. Unlike traditional assessment only models, the Train to Gain programme provides a blend of core and bolt-on modules across all repair disciplines, ensuring that every technician is upskilled in line with the latest vehicle technologies and BS 10125 standards.
As a long-standing partner of RWC Training, Brian Robson Coachworks chose to migrate to the new programme after identifying significant strategic advantages, including streamlined administrative processes, enhanced sustainability and substantial cost savings.

The adoption by Brian Robson Coachworks follows the recent announcement that all three UKAS-accredited certification bodies – BSI, RMISC, and CARS QA – have confirmed that Train to Gain aligns seamlessly with BS 10125 auditing procedures.

By adopting Train to Gain, Brian Robson Coachworks secures a future-proof training roadmap that ensures their technicians remain at the cutting edge of repair technology, while maintaining the highest levels of safety and compliance.

Having worked with RWC Training for years, the decision to move our team onto Train to Gain was a logical next step. We aren’t just ticking a box for compliance anymore; we are actively investing in the expertise of our staff. The modular nature of the programme allows us to select the units we require to meet our specific needs across all three sites, while the cost efficiencies and reduction in technician downtime make it a much more sustainable model for our business.

It is a privilege to see a long-term partner like Brian Robson Coachworks embrace the future of training so completely. Their transition proves that Train to Gain isn’t just for new customers – it’s a superior model for established bodyshops who want to move away from repetitive assessments and towards genuine, measurable upskilling. Seeing a multi-site operation convert their entire workforce is a clear signal that the industry is ready for this change.
